The image in question can be found in Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas - The Definitive Edition, and comes in the form of a picture of a house. While some think that the house is likely pulled from Grand Theft Auto 5, it seems players are having difficulty locating it in the game. Others believe that the house is meant to look like a house from Florida, finding images online of Floridian houses that match what it looks like, and they are using it as evidence that GTA 6 will be set in the Miami-inspired Vice City as has been rumored for years.

The photographs and paintings in the Grand Theft Auto Trilogy games have included nods to other Rockstar Games titles, like the Red Dead Redemption 2 Easter egg that was also found in San Andreas. However, it could still be a pretty big leap to assume that this image is a GTA 6 screenshot or is representative of what the game will be like, as some fans are assuming.
This isn’t the first time that GTA Trilogy players have said that they’ve found a Grand Theft Auto 6 Easter egg in the collection. Mere hours after GTA Trilogy launched, fans made a beeline to some billboards in Grand Theft Auto 3 that teased Vice City in the original release. The billboards have been altered in GTA Trilogy to show a plane departing from Los Santos, which led fans to two possible conclusions about what the billboard could represent.
One theory was that the updated Grand Theft Auto 3 billboard was meant to represent that Rockstar’s next game would be the Grand Theft Auto 5 next-gen ports, but others have looked more into the fact that the plane appears to be departing from Los Santos as opposed to arriving to it. This has led some to believe that Rockstar is teasing that fans will finally be leaving Grand Theft Auto 5 soon, but like with this supposed GTA 6 screenshot, it’s quite possible that fans are reading a bit too much into things.
Ultimately, the speculation and fan theories will continue until Rockstar Games itself decides to reveal Grand Theft Auto 6, but with Grand Theft Auto 5 and GTA Online coming to PS5 and Xbox Series X next year, it’s highly unlikely that GTA 6 news will come anytime soon.
Grand Theft Auto 6 is rumored to be in development.
