Who’s Not: There are some players whose real-life contributions don’t translate to the fantasy game. Nick Markakis is a prime example. He received 634 at-bats despite posting a .685 OPS, so clearly there is something that he does away from the dish that the Orioles value.
Who’s Hurt: Third baseman Manny Machado underwent successful surgery to repair a major knee injury he suffered late in 2013. Reports are his rehab is going well, and even though no return date has been mentioned, Machado could be ready to play the majority of the 2014 season.
